Conor McGregor
Conor Anthony McGregor (born 14 July 1988) is an Irish mixed martial artist who currently competes in the featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is the current UFC Interim Featherweight Champion. McGregor is the former Cage Warriors featherweight and lightweight champion. As of November 18, 2015, he is the #1 ranked featherweight contender and #12 ranked pound-for-pound fighter in official UFC rankings.〔

McGregor was born in Dublin, Ireland. He was raised in the South Dublin suburb of Crumlin where he developed his first passion for sport through association football. In 2006, at the age of 17, McGregor moved with his family to the South Dublin suburb of Lucan where he commenced a plumbing apprenticeship.
